Terms of service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms apply when you install and use StatementPal, on any platform it is offered on, such as the Mac App Store. StatementPal is a trading name of A.S. de Beer, Individual Entrepreneur, registered in Georgia ("we"). By installing StatementPal you agree to them.
What StatementPal does
StatementPal reads payment export files from PayPal and Stripe that you upload, and creates invoices from the payments you choose, using the business and client details you provide.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the files and details you provide, and for checking your invoices before you send or file them.
- You are responsible for meeting the invoicing and tax rules that apply to your business. StatementPal is a tool, not tax, legal or accounting advice.
- You must have the right to process the customer information contained in the files you import.
- You must not use StatementPal for anything unlawful or to disrupt the service.
Plans and payment
StatementPal offers a free plan with a monthly invoice limit and paid plans with higher or no limits, as shown where you get StatementPal. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly by the platform you buy through (for example an app store), and upgrades, cancellations and refunds are handled by that platform under its terms. Where we sell directly on statementpal.com, payments are processed by PayPal, the prices shown at checkout apply, and our refund policy explains refunds. Invoices created on the free plan include a small "Created with StatementPal" line. We may change prices or plans in the future; existing subscriptions keep their price until renewal, and we'll give notice of changes.
Availability
We work to keep StatementPal available and reliable, but can't guarantee it will always be free of interruptions or errors. We may improve or change features over time.
Your data
Your data belongs to you. How we handle it is described in our privacy policy. If you uninstall an online version of StatementPal or close your account, your data is permanently deleted after 30 days. Download any invoices you need before then.
Liability
StatementPal is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses resulting from incorrect information in files or details you provided. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for StatementPal in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending use
You can stop using StatementPal at any time by uninstalling it or cancelling your plan where you bought it. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously breached.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
