Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains what information StatementPal handles, why, and how it is protected. StatementPal turns PayPal and Stripe payment exports into invoices. It is available as a Mac app and as an online app used through a web browser or a third-party platform (such as a website builder or app store); this policy covers all of them.

Who is responsible

StatementPal is a trading name of A.S. de Beer, Individual Entrepreneur, registered in Georgia. Contact: support@statementpal.com.

For your own business information, we are responsible for how it is handled. For information about your customers contained in the files you import (such as their names and email addresses), you decide what is imported and we process it only on your behalf, to create your invoices.

What we store

Client details you add or import: name, company, email, address, VAT or tax numberTo print them on invoices for that client.
Your invoices: number, date, amount and, once downloaded, a copy of the details printed on itSo invoice numbers stay in sequence and an issued invoice never changes.

The Mac app

StatementPal for Mac stores your payments, clients, invoices and settings on your Mac only. They are not sent to us. The rest of this policy applies to the online versions of StatementPal.

Early-access list

If you join the early-access list on this website, we store your email address and the date you joined, only to tell you when StatementPal in your browser opens. We don't share it or use it for anything else. Ask us at any time to remove it, and we delete the list once the launch invitations have gone out.

What we don't store

The CSV files you upload are read in memory and discarded immediately; only the payments listed above are kept. Invoice PDFs are created when you download them and are not stored. We never receive your PayPal, Stripe or bank login details, and StatementPal cannot access your PayPal or Stripe accounts.

Who else is involved

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising. It is shared only with the services needed to run StatementPal:

  • A cloud hosting provider, which runs our server and database under a data processing agreement.
  • PayPal, which processes payments for plans bought on statementpal.com.
  • The platform you use StatementPal through, such as an app store or website builder, which provides the app and handles subscription payments. We never see your card details.
  • Google Fonts, from which the online StatementPal dashboard loads its typeface; your browser connects to Google to download it. This website itself doesn't load anything from third parties.

How it is protected

All connections use encryption (HTTPS). Each customer's data is kept separate, and requests are verified (for example with a signature from the platform you use StatementPal through), so no customer can see another's information. Files and data are kept outside the public web space, downloads use links that expire after two minutes, and access to the server is restricted.

How long we keep it

While you use StatementPal, your data is kept so the app works. When you uninstall StatementPal from a platform, all of your data (payments, clients, invoices, settings and logo) is permanently deleted 30 days later. If you delete your statementpal.com account, everything is deleted straight away. If you reinstall within those 30 days, your data is restored. To have your data deleted sooner, email us from the address linked to your account.

Your rights

You can see and correct your business and client information in the app at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing support@statementpal.com. If you are in the EU, UK or another region with data protection laws, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

StatementPal and this website don't use cookies for tracking or advertising, and don't use analytics services.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
